Welcome to BSLN Tennis (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the BSLN Tennis website and services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Overview of the Service

BSLN Tennis provides software that allows tennis players and tennis organizations to create, manage, and participate in tennis ladders. Organizations may subscribe to access administrative features, and players may pay one-time fees to join ladders.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be at least 13 years old. For players under 13 (junior ladders), a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account and provide consent for the child to participate. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information;
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Payments and Billing

We use Stripe to process payments securely. By providing payment information, you authorize us (and Stripe) to charge your card or payment method for fees related to your use of the Service.

4.1 Player Ladder Entry Fees

  • Player ladder entry fees are one-time charges collected at the time of registration.
  • Refunds: We offer a full refund if a player withdraws before the ladder start date.
  • No refunds will be issued once the ladder has begun.

4.2 Organization Subscriptions

  • Organizations may subscribe to access administrative features of the Service.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: Organizations may cancel anytime. They will retain access for the remainder of the current billing period.
  • There are no prorated or partial refunds for unused time.

5. Use of the Service

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service;
  • Upload harmful, inaccurate, or misleading content.

6. Analytics and Third-Party Services

We use third-party analytics services, including Vercel Analytics, to help monitor and improve the Service. These services may collect technical and usage data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software provided through the Service belong to BSLN Tennis or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to other users or to the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BSLN Tennis is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BSLN Tennis and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to the Service

We may update or modify the Service at any time, with or without notice, including adding or removing features.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
